Chinese Crested Dogs
Chinese Ship Dog

The Chinese Crested Dogs were traded by ship merchants in the 16th Century to rid their sea vessels of vermin.

This breed can be found in almost every harbor city in the world. They are highly intelligent and loving.

Even the hairless Chinese crested is not totally without hair.  They are called the hairy hairless.  Basically a thin and scant amount of hair does cover the body, but it is a low shedding, low dander dog breed making it suitable as a hypo allergenic dog breed.

Hypo-allergenic dog breeds do exist although no guarantee against dog allergies, just more friendly for those who suffer from allergies.
