Italian Greyhound
Treat me Gently

The Italian Greyhound is an extremely fragile dog breed.  They possess a particularly delicate frame and cannot play roughly.
Only older children are suitable for this little tot.
However, all living environments are suitable, as they are not demanding with in-door activities, although the miniature greyhound does need a daily run in the park.

These small dog breeds, love human companionship but can tolerate being left alone unlike many miniature lap dogs, many of which are prone to Dog Separation Anxiety when left alone.

This tiny dog breed is a gentle soul, is very sensitive to cold conditions therefore need to be housed indoors and wear a protective jacket when outdoors in the winter months.

This miniature greyhound breed has some health concerns.  Patellar luxation (tricky knees), fractures and periodontal problems are the most common, this breed is also sensitive to anaesthetics.

This angel loves jumping up and can be hard to house train.  They are slow to mature.

Very gentle but consistent training is required.

Their soft, silky and glossy coats need almost no maintenance.  Just an occasional wipe with a chamois or soft brush is all that is required.

This low shedding, odorless dog, is suitable for people with allergies.  Although no dog is dander free, so if you are hypo allergenic, before choosing a dog, check your allergic reaction with a dog from the same breed before making a long term commitment.

His lovely disposition makes him suitable for an apartment or the countryside.  He is elegant and graceful making a loving pet which is low on home maintenance.
