King Charles Cavalier
Something Sweet

The King Charles Cavalier is a sweet, friendly little soul.  Famously named after King Charles 1.  This perfect pooch has been known to grace Buckingham Palace and the White House, making this a
very grand pet indeed.

No aggressive tendencies towards humans, dogs or kitty cats making these types of dogs ideal for families.

The Cavalier dog loves human companionship and is happy as a lap dog or an energetic exercise mate. He can adapt easily for an apartment or large country home. All this little angel needs, is to be part of of a family and out of the cold.

This breed does not tolerate being left alone and cannot be kenneled outside. This baby must be part of the household and sleep in-doors.

King Charles Cavalier

  • Weight - 10 - 18 lbs (5 - 8 kgs)
  • Height - 12 - 13 inches (30 - 33 cms)
  • Color - White and chestnut, Red, Black, Tan

  • Family - Loving family pet and companion
  • Life expectancy - Between 10 and 14 years

The distinctive large dark eyes, droopy ears and dark button nose makes these Brachycephalic dog breeds, lovable and cute pets.  His soothing personality is perfect for the elderly and makes a great therapy dog due to his non-aggressive and loving nature.

His beautiful silky coat needs little maintenance and comes in 4 main coat colors.

Black and tan being the classic King Charles, (Blenheim) red and white. Solid ruby the rarest and tri color (known as the Prince Charles variety) which has black and white markings with tan above eyes and cheeks. A weekly brush is all that is needed to keep this little beauty looking good.

A reliable companion for children, although all children must be taught to respect the fragile frame of these toy dog breeds.
