You need to be prepared for these costs, as your new sweetheart deserves not just your love, but is entitled to veterinary care when needed and if you can't afford it, you will be neglecting a helpless animal totally dependent on you for all its needs.

Best you consider this cost as you would be doing this helpless animal a disservice if you were unable to pay for special grooming if it was a breed requirement.
